I think I just moved next door to her
![]() I live in a duplex. My neighbor, Lois, a chain-smoking, white haired, thin as a rail, 82-year-old lady. I've seen her a hand full of times and all but maybe twice she has had those tiny little brush rollers all across the front of her hair, no where else. She walks outside in her pajamas and robe and these boot-like slippers. She's very opnionated, swears like a sailor, has a irreverent attitude. She also has a big heart and has adopted Buttercup as her own, and brings her treats every day. Buttercup is completely ruined. ![]() |

LOL Sounds like you have your very own version of our Princess. It is a gift to be sure. It is hard but once they learn to trust you it is an amazeing friendship to know some one Senior. You can really be a light in there life. And theirs in yours. Family by choice.

I know she lost her own little fur baby a few months before I moved in so, think it was somewhat destiny that we move here. She already refers to herself as Buttercup's mommy. |

Oh, her. You could have the cranky old feminal on the greeting cards. I _might_ have gotten it then.
Didn't realize she had a name. |
