Me, I have 4 tats. I have my huge new design going on above; plus I have MOLON LABE, which is Greek for "COME TAKE" on the tops of my hands as it was enscribed in stone by Spartan warriors years ago. I also have the best Flaming Tribal Sun tat I've seen yet around my left nipple; I'm not saying it's the best because I got it, I'm saying that because I designed it to be the best. I also have the same tat El Wray from the movie "Grindhouse: Planet Terror" had on his wrist of a Swallow Outline.

I am taking and adding way more of my own original artwork to my backpiece, of a Spartan King, his Queen, and The Spartan Warriors in an masterpiece form. Along my arms will be my sons middle name in Greek. Down the right of my pelvis will be more Tribal, but in a Warrior theme. I may go along my rib cages, through the dragons, and design a fleet of Persian ships.

I have a Whole Warrior Theme going on, and that's how I make it my own. There is way too much of the same out there, and something this different is going to be very nice and unique.

Dude! That sounds quite unique! Everyone out here goes for the random Chinese ir Japanese work that I am sure that the asians are putting out as a joke...Almost positive that all the asian writing here says "I am the small spoon"

Work the warrior theme...post your work when it heals....and keep it medicated!

LOL actually Krupa, my ex-husband thought he'd go be unique and get our daughter's name in Chinese. Mind you, he lives in Israel. No one speaks or reads Chinese out there. But he didn't want anyone to know what it said.

Anyway, I happened to be dating an Asian at the time of the tattoo and I showed him the pictures and Tshian said, 'Hon, that's not Nicole on his leg.'

To which I said, 'oh? what is it then?'

Tshian: 'that says "Cool Hand Luke Walks Dogs"'

Krupa, I totally agree. I see so many people getting the same tats in Japanese, Chinese, and all the Kanji. So many are doing the Yakuza sleeve themes, and I think it is very silly, because half of them have no idea behind the meaning of the tats and designs. Even my brother went and did it. Although his artwork and tats are awesome, the whole Japanese theme would half been way off for him if he didn't add the scriptures and designs like he did to allow it to tell a story with his religious background.

Me, I chose the whole Greek Spartan Warrior theme, because I am always told from my parents and family that I have this Warrior Spirit about me. What do warriors do...they strike fear into those who try to take them down or take from them. Hence, that is where the MOLON LABE tat on my hands came into place, starting this whole theme.

I took it one step further with the Sun tat, because a sun is a star that burns just as hot as the passion in a warrior's heart. That's why I placed it around my left nipple. Then the Swallow came around my wrist, because I dress and act exactly just like El Wray from Grindhouse: Planet Terror. I even have a background like his character in the movie.

Now, I jumped into doing the Dragons covering my chest wrapping to my back. They remind me of Medieval Banners. A dragon is also fearless, and its fire comes straight from the inside. A dragon is always persistant at taking on anything in its path. Its hide is tough and hard to pierce and it fights back even tougher.

Designing the Spartan King memorial on my back, came from the idea of how strong and relentless the Spartans were. Their King took on everyone that tried to take from his people. The Spartan King was fearless.

Today, I drew up a new design, of a Tribal Spartan Helmet that will go between my shoulder blades and upon the back of my neck. That along with the infamous Spartan symbol what will stretch completely across my whole back will be the finishing touches for the center piece.

On my arms I plan to have The Dragons' Tribal Tails wrapping down from my shoulders to my elbows. On the underside of my forearms will be my sons middle names wrote in Greek. On the upside of the forearms will be constellations that the Greeks sought guidance from in the nightsky. I'm even going to add a cross onto my left wrist and some tribal down the sides of my pelvis to tie it all together.

Later on, I may do a little more. I always wanted a North Star design I drew on the outer edge of my left eye.

For now, I'm concentrating on remaining FEARLESS!shades

I have four fabulous tats, each one of them mark a special time in my life. My next one is going to do something with Pumpkins. I call my daughter pumpkin so if you have any good ideas on something to do with pumpkins I would love to hear them!

I went under the needle again Today and had the tat of the Swallow on my wrist filled in completely black. I also had the MOLON LABE on my hands Bolded. Looks Great!

After talking with my 3 tattoo artists, I still have several hours of work to go to finish the whole theme. As it progresses and the first Dragon on my chest is completely filled, I will update you all that are interested with some pics.

Happy Tattooing!

I've designed plenty for others and even designed 2 for myself, but I doubt I'll every do myself that way - unless gravity and age cease to be future factors!

Oh yeah...the gravity factor is a big issue. I'm interested and impressed with other people's tats but it's not for me...even if it didn't involve needles (ewww~)

Great thread, though~
