Actually in some cases ignorance is bliss...but in others, I think it's more corruptive....for example, if I were seeing a guy and he was cheating on me and I didn't know it, I would be all happy around him all the time--but in the end it would hurt worse. I'd rather know so I could dump him to the curb!

There isn't anything I now know, I would want to not know. Everything I know makes me who I am - if I were to start taking parts of that knowledge away because they are distasteful or hurtful, then I am going to end up with someone other than who I am today.

I've had discussions about a similiar topic - regret. Wanting to take back/change a life experience. I always answer this one the same way - I regert nothing I've experienced in life as all of my life experiences are part of what makes me the unique person I am, and changing those experiences, would change who I am today.
