MISSING IN VIRGINIA

we have snow, with half inch of ice on top of that.....a freezing weather front coming through tonight with bitter temps and a chance for more snow on Tuesday. I hate winter!!! Would rather deal with just snow and NO ice.

WOOT!! WOOT!! We got about 15 inches of fresh powder last evening and overnight!! more snow on the way... it is so gorgeous right now...all white and sparkling... the birds are eating my feeders empty!! and they love the heated bird bath!! |

It is sunny in the low 30s. Ice covered snow. I have a little black poodle mix dog ice skating in the yard, laughter first thing in the morning is a good thing.

The weather is outside, and I'm warm and snug in here, so I don't really care for today.

the weather is beautiful here they say it will get into the 80's. Going to Galveston haven't been since the hurricane. It will be a nice short trip.

Snow this morn, 45mph winds, temp mid 20's, just COLD & I want to go south, but can't.

It's 19 here with thr sun shining and storms threatning. I'm still patiently waiting for the weather in the north west to clear so I can leave here for a vacation that grows shorter with each passing day.
 Postponed now till Wednesday. Yeppers gonna be on the road christmas day if it clears up.

Yesterday was beautiful 82. Now it has dropped 30 degrees.

Currently 1 deg, -15 wind chill, predict 18" snow by Mon morning.

Currently....-4. Going to be very windy here today too. They are expecting more possible power outageous today also because of the trees and lines already covered with ice and the wind kicking up later.

-5 thank goodness we get very little wind. No snow yet, I think the storm decided to move on up the valley and let loose on some poor unsuspecting community in Nebraska

it is about 18 above here with powder snow falling steady off of Lake Superior...it is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!! The pines and evergreens are draped in robes of white; and the tree branches are balancing the snow on each one... I can watch the lake effect snow coming across the lake... we had 15 inches on thursday night and Friday...and now we had about 5 inches last night...it is supposed to snow through tomorrow and actually through until Thursday! YIPEE!!!!!!!!!! I pray for safe travels for everyone. with Christmas so close and all the people who are traveling, I sure hope that everyone arrives safely at their destination!! |
