Definitely, the older I get the more I want to be in a committed relationship. There's something about the thought of growing old and being alone that makes me want to sit in a corner and shiver. :) That's a sad sad sad thought. The less I want to be in a "committed relationship". Does anyone else feel the same way. I've never been in one. However, I've seen the ones of others, and yeah, I can understand how you feel. I'm not a big fan of the drama. |

When I first started out with this "dating site" thing, I did want a "committed relationship" but the men I meet seem to just want a "booty call". So I have given up and trying to find anyone special. Now I just go with the flow. I just realized i'm sounding bitter. But i'm not  since I have given up on finding that special someone and started going with the flow, i've been having a great time.
You don't sound bitter. People will always accuse a strong-willed woman of bitterness when she lists all the things she doesn't want in a relationship. You're right about them all wanting a "booty call" that's why I'm just here for friends; I keep my booty to myself. |

Oh its not that bad.............if we all felt that way we would all never be borned..............come on a little optimism......
 I love being alone since their seem to be no more men out their that want a "relationship". Let's face it though. All men want anymore is to have a little fun and be able to walk away, "no strings". All i'm saying is, since we can't change "the game", we mine as well play it.

Im much the same way lex.......believe it or not!!!! I watch and listen alot!!! You can get a really good "feel" for people when you do that. That is so true -- I studied psychology for seven years, but I learned so much more by just listening to people talk, letting them say anything and everything they needed to say.... |

I've honestly never needed anyone, I don't have a necessity for someone to be at my side. It would be a nice compiment but it isn't necessary. I'm fine alone if alone I will be, still on the hunt for my 1 in a 1,000,000...we will see if it hits or not I suppose.
