The bering sea you say????? huh Interesting!!! Have you been before??? Yes.......I hate to admit but I needed time at home for a few days to get stuff done.

I made a friend there, through here, and I've had a desire to see the place when it's unbelievably cold and...just unbelievable.

Adventure calls. You know? bigsmile Just to do the most unbelievable thing, sometimes.

We should pick an adventure, somewhere feasible for the both of us, about late spring or early summer, 2009.
Or, are you going that Mingle gala, down in the states?

Good point. I don't know when it is.

Just thinking ahead, of what I might do during the next year. Maybe drive across Canada, and down through the states, and then make my way back to work, up here. I earn more vacation time than I can afford to plan things to do with it, which is sort of fun. laugh

What's bubbling? You mean bulging, like bowing inward a bit?

Check for moisture, especially by the baseboard or along stud lines. If there's an internal seep of moisture, then mold can develop, and also rot the wood in the walls.

And if the window won't close, then that can show that moisture is already soaking into the frame of the window. Staple plastic over the outside of the frame, and let the heat inside the house dry out the frame. It will shrink, and the window will close. If that's what happens, then apply a moisture sealer to the frame before removing the plastic.

If the window frame is dry inside the wood, but the window doesn't close, then warpage has already occurred. Has your house settled, so that the wall of that window is uneven? If so, then a simple hydraulic jack with a spacer board can lift the sagging part, and you put shingle shims in between the sag and the base support, to even up the wall. Then your window should work fine.
