Sometimes we have residents which we term call light happy. One aide told me this one resident thought the call light button was the remote control and I guess one thought it was the control for the electric bed. Some just touch it unknowingly in their sleep. Some are just intrigued with it and wonder what it is there for. When we sometimes get swamped we are just running chasing the call lights.

Will There Be Call Lights In Heaven?

The old nurse asked for lotion on her skin.
Shes ninety-five years old and still rolling.
Hunchbacked and crippled she still smiles.
In her room we chatted and talked for a while.

With a sparkle in her eyes she gave me a grin.
She explained how much she enjoyed being a LPN.
Said she didn't get around like she used to.
But her eyes were still charming and deep blue.

Warmed the lotion in my hands and began to apply.
She said I should charge and then I asked why.
Told me of her two sons; A doctor and a dentist.
Interesting to listen to; I felt like an apprentice.

Told me how the nursing home was a hospital, then.
And how much it had changed since way back when.
She said that she was glad that folks still care.
Wondered if there would be call lights up there.

I warmed the lotion in my hands to rub her down.
I took off her day clothes and put on her gown.
I laid her on her bed and left down the hall.
Thankful that there was always someone on call.

I enjoyed reading that verse rainbow.

Psalm 82
A psalm of Asaph.

1 God presides in the great assembly;
he gives judgment among the "gods":
2 "How long will you [a] defend the unjust
and show partiality to the wicked?

3 Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 "They know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 "I said, 'You are "gods";
you are all sons of the Most High.'

This word “gods’ refers to judges, or magistrates as can be seen in verses 2 through 4.

Got some good news for the Christians.


Jesus don't need to "return".


He never left

He is already here.

He has been here with us all along.

He lives in the heart of every Christian that has lived for the past 2000 years.


Don't believe the false prophets. It is not the endtimes. There is no end unless we want it to be.We can forgive and be forgiven.The future is what we make.All things are possible with "God".

I have to agree with you Mirror in the sense that Jesus is already here, in spirit. And that He lives in the hearts of all believers.

But, I have to blatently disagree with your theory that there is no second coming as you have been suggesting for some time now.

The bible makes it very clear that there will indeed come a day when a physical kingdom will be established. However, that kingdom is not going to be on this earth, but yet on the new earth.

2 Peter Chapter 3 has some very pointed things to say about this topic.

A "new earth" and "new heaven" has already came about since the times the bible was written and the times of Jesus. Several of them actually. Jesus lived in the Ancient world. Then came the Dark Ages. Then the Middle Ages. Then the Rennaissance.etc.etc. And now you have the Age we live in now (The Modern World). Each was different than the others. Each one was a much different world. In each one,mans view of reality was radically different.Its all in the history books.

Also, the Ancient world believed in a Flat Earth with the Sun in orbit around it,surrounded by a crystal sphere.In the modern world,we live on a round Earth that orbits the Sun in a solar system. Hence a "new heaven" and a "new earth".

There have been many "physical kingdoms". Countries founded on "christian principles". Countries where Christianity was practiced openly (not illegal as it was in the ancient world). The United States is one of these. You must remember that when the scriptures where written, the christians were outlaws without their own country (kingdom).


Remember,Jesus said that we can forgive and be forgiven. We have free will. We have no prewritten destiny. The future is what we make it with our choices.



Everytime a Christian feeds the hungry,clothes the naked,frees the enslaved,or lays down his life for his fellow man, Jesus lives again. You can kill a man but you can't kill an idea. This is the "second coming" and we can all partake in it. Each one of us can make a difference,each one of us can change the world.

The church camp I went to as a child (9-15) used to sing this as one of our daily songs after lunch.

I`ve been a actuale christain sents late 2003 when I finely started to figger out that I just had to follow Jesus and as time has gone on and I learn the Holy word and follow it I find his love,caring ,and that his ways not only make sents but they PROVE Him and God the Father wright. Happieness is following Christ and living it every day not just saying your a christain then living for the world.
