1. Picture of 10 people and they never bother to tell you which one the profile belongs to. 2. Boob shot with no face shown. Hey, some of us are not mesmerized by boobs. 3. Picture of person hiding behind drapes. I actually saw this on another site. 4. Picture of obvious well-known celebrity and the poster claims that's them. 5. Picture of person hiding behind dog. I would probably love your dog, but I don't want to date him/her. 6. Picture of person holding bottle of alcoholic beverage. No thank you, that's immediate disqualification. 7. Picture taken up solely by large derriere. I do not need to read the label on your pants. 8. Picture of baby. This is not Date-A-Baby.com. 9. Picture of anyone holding up a fish. Yes, you've proven that with hundreds of dollars of equipment, you can outsmart a fish. 10. Picture of anyone holding something that they killed. I know women are impressed by the size of the horns. lol 11. Picture if someone with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. Yuk Actually, 10 doesn't bother me. So long as it isn't human, cat, dog, or pet animals. The message I get from it is, "oh, freezer full of meat. Cooking TIME!" Elk Stew is one of my specialties. |

The thing about the profiles is, it is your personal space here to reflect and express who you are. If you think about it, what folks post and what they say without censorship, aside from the site guidelines, which are pretty lenient, is a reflection of who they are. If we all conform to a strict set of guidelines to 'please' folks then it's not truly who we are, it becomes a little bland, restricts our self expression, it's like cookie-cutter profiles, we're all just alike. So, you might not like it, but you actually get a pretty good idea of what that is person is like from the pics they chose to put up for all of us to see, i.e, exhibitionist, pet lover, fisherman, hunter, dancer, body builder, ROCKER. I would rather that than have someone try to conform and not be allowed to showcase who they really are. My 2 cents.

ok here are a few of the things that i hate to see in a profile.
1- half blank profile, lists 4 interests and thats it.. 2- anything negative, if you want to vent, thats fine. vent in your diary not on here.. it does not get me interested if you vent about all your previous guy issues.. NO WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!! 3- 19 year old girls saying they want a "REAL man" there age..(sorry darlin but you will not find a "real" man anywhere near that young) but i do wish you the best of luck with that.. 4- profiles that when it asks you to state whether you are married or any of those specific questions.. you answer "rather not say" that just leaves me to use my imagination.. so i will always expect the worst possible answer.. 5- i am sure i will get hated for this one..****big people.. and i mean BIG.. they say average or petite.. there is nothing average or petite about 300 lbs.. i am not saying you are bad people or anything like that..just be honest with yourselves.. hey I KNOW I AM SKINNY il admit it.. 6- don't concentrate on what you don'y want.. we all know you don't want a player, or drama we know this.. thats kind of a given.. we want to hear a POSITIVE REPRESENTATION of you.. give me the information that will inspire me to make contact.. not leave me with the feeling of utter bitterness.. anyways.. that is what i hate to find in a profile. |
