i have been called shy once that i can remember...
she meant it as a compliment she said it with substantial surprise in her voice and i can still hear it exactly as ahe said it, "You're shy!!"  she said

...around someone, you would like to take out on a date? (a few people know me on Mingle2, & just say Hi-- but they would not guess i am shy at times.) In real life, I am so shy, I'm practically invisible. Birds fly into me on a regular basis. I just don't understand that. You have no reason to be shy.
