MOSCOW - The Russian navy said Wednesday one of its warships would sail this week through Panama Canal — a symbolic projection of Moscow's power to the U.S. zone of influence.
It will be the first time since World War II that a Soviet or Russian military vessel crosses the canal, Russian navy spokesman Capt. Igor Dygalo said. Whatcha think ladies? |

the canal was intended to be international besides last I heard the Panama Canal is administered by the Chinese EDIT: I was on the second Navy warship that allowed a Russian helicopter to land on it. And we gave tours to them (with shrouds over certain equipments) they were cool, awfully nice people. except for the KGB guy that followed everyone around |
