Follow my simple tips..........
1.The first step is to stop any intense cardio workouts immediately. This includes any workout that causes the heart to beat more than 90 beats per minute for longer than 2 minutes. Sex hormones are depleted by too much cardiovascular exercises.
2.The next step is to make sure you are getting enough sleep. Each individual varies in the amount of sleep he or she needs, according to the National Sleep Foundation. Sufficient sleep is important for optimum health, safety and performance

3.A healthy sex drive also thrives on good nutrition because the endocrine and adrenal glands, which secrete sex hormones, have specific nutritional needs to function properly. Nutrients that keep these glands in good condition are vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, E, zinc, folic acid, niacin, selenium and Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Alcohol, nicotine and caffeine all have negative impacts on the libido.

4.The first exercise that should be done are de-stressing exercises. “Everybody needs de-stressing exercise because most people are stressed out. “This type of exercise turns off the stress hormones. When you turn off the stress hormones then your body can switch over to making your sex hormones.” De-stressing exercises include restorative yoga (not power or bikram yoga), Tai Chi, Qi Chong and walking.

5.After the body has had a chance to heal, energy has returned and hormones have stabilized, it’s time to incorporate strength-training exercises. Lifting weights for 20 to 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. It’s going to have a beneficial effect on their cardiovascular function. And it’s going to have a really beneficial effect on the hormonal profile.
6. Exercise Adds Options...If you are physically fit, you may have more options for sex. Sex itself is an intense physical activity requiring strength and endurance. As you exercise, both your strength and endurance will increase, opening the possibility for more varied sexual positions that require greater physical control.

7.Sixty-year-olds who exercise frequently report having the same amount of sex and sexual pleasure as people decades younger. One study examined the sexual frequency and satisfaction ratings of swimmers aged 60 and found that they were the same as those 20 years younger. If you exercise a lot, your “sexual age” will be years younger than your chronological age

Queries and feedbacks are appreciated.

All the best,
Happy Dating..

Sorry, above 90 beats a minute for 2 mins is not 'intense' by any definition.
Maybe edit your post?

it means during the cooling period of cardio, heart beats should not sustain for more than 90 beats for more 2 mins. its obvious that during the cardio, the heart beat will rise upto 130 to 140 depending upon the resistence.
Also, cardio is not always performed at 100% target heart rate. it depends on person to person.

Your original post doesn't state this. Generally for wgt loss or conditioning %65-%85 of max heart rate is recomended. And unless you are already in great cardiovascular condition, you heart rate is not going to drop to 90 or below in the first two mins after a work out. Depending on your individual condition, rate may remail elevated, but not more that 20 mins. after intense cardio work out.

well, first of all, training intensity for conditioning, weight loss and cardiac rehabilitation is not decided by % of maximum heart rate. It is decided by considering heart rate reserve and resting heart rate of the person. Maximum heart rate is just used to figure out the HRR. The intensity you have told is way high to start for a person even with good cardiac condition. The training is usually started with low intensity of 20-40% of VO2 max or HRR.
Secondly, this thread is focused on the physiological response of exercise ,sex drive in particular. Thats why i have tried to keep it simple.
And when it comes to cardiac patient, there heart rate is not high due to compromised vascular system and drugs like beta blockers. Most of the patients of mine not even reach to the beat of 110 in their low intensity training programme.
Finally, dropping of heart doesnot start after work out..it starts from the cooling phase of the workout(as menioned earlier). A cardiovascular workout is never stopped suddenly.
