Topic: How to be popular. | |
---|---|
Perhaps the most arresting bit of personal advice I ever encountered
was this: If you want to be popular, live so that a blind person would like you. The point is that lasting popularity depends not on having good looks or other surface personality traits |

Without getting too much into science or physics...
people are like protons, electrons, and neutrons. What I have noticed is that popularity is not soley based on positive characteristics, personalities, traits, looks, or attributes. But rather popularity is gathered like kinetic energy, effected by pushing and pulling of positives & negatives. Positive people are like "protons". People see their happiness, their positivity, and those who seek happiness are drawn to them naturally. The opposite of course would be the "electrons". The phrase "Misery loves company" applies here. Negative people tend to gather other negatives. Also like kinetic energy, the actions of one "proton", "neutron", or "electron" can change the actions of the group. Peer pressure at its best. It can be either a positive, neutral, or negative influence. Just my opinion ![]() |
