Democratic presidental avoiding debates sponsered by Fox News. Full
story copy paste the link below.

Edwards, Obama, and Clinton won't don't any presidental debates set up
by Fox News. According to the article it would give a creditibility that
Fox News is fair viewed in it's reporting of national and global news.

Is Fox News the Bush Network?

I say the Fox News just in the business for ratings. And it's core
audience to which it just pans to are conversatives. And the
conservative centrisitic view that Fox caters to is costing them
ratings, rates are down from past years. You can't spin higher prices at
the pump any other way than thinner wallets, or over 3,000 soldiers
dead, or Global Warming, or the housing market bubble, or US auto makers
losses.

I don’t think there can be any doubt that Fox News is basically
conservative right-wing biased.

I think that’s pretty well known and accepted by most people.

If it claims to be a fair and unbiased news source it’s definitely full
of it.

But then not many news sources are genuinely unbaised.

That is a bad thing reguardless if Fox is fair or not.

If, by using political clout, one party or another can degrade a certain
news service we will all suffer cause it will be a different news
service the next time.

Perhaps the real reason they don't want fox setting up debates is cause
they don't want to answer any hardline questions.

After all both the democrats and the republicans have done and continue
to do things that are not in the best interest of the citizens of the
united states.

Givin the current political situation the democrats naturally want all
voters attention focused on the mistakes of the republicans. Fox does
have a tendency to bring up the mistakes of whoever they happen to be
interviewing at the time.

"That is a bad thing reguardless if Fox is fair or not."

Question: How many Democratic voters trust Fox New?

Or here's a better question: How many Democratic voters actually watch
Fox News and use it for it's source of information?

Would you trust Al Jazier news network?

"If, by using political clout, one party or another can degrade a
certain news service we will all suffer cause it will be a different
news service the next time."

The canidates may not be avoiding Fox New to degrade it's credibility
but only to apease to Democratic voters who despise anything to do with
Fox News.

Fox News fair?

Is that a joke?

I don’t give news organizations that much power over me.

All news reporters are biased even if they have a sincere desire not to
be.

I listen almost exclusively to NPR radio, and programs like “All things
Considered” as well as the BBC.

Are they biased news sources. Absolutely they are!

But that’s totally irrelevant.

I don’t allow the news source to form my opinions. One thing I like
about the programs I listen to is that they offer a lot of interviews.
When I listen to these interviews I can clearly hear the bias of the
interviewers in both the questions they ask and in the tone with which
they ask them. However, that doesn’t prevent me from also listening to
the responses of the people being interviewed.

I personally believe that NPR programs and the BBC at least ask fair
questions which allow the people being interviewed to respond over a
wider range.

On thing that I didn’t like about Fox News, particularly concerning Bill
O’Riley (sp?) is that Bill would try to control the interviews by only
asking questions he wanted to hear answers to and he would steer away
from topics he didn’t want to hear and even rudely interrupt his guests
if they tried to make their point.

That kind of harassing controlling ‘journalism’ is totally ignorant. If
you’re going to interview someone let the person speak their mind for
god’s sake! I have no respect at all for controlling interviewers.

Asking tough questions is one thing. Refusing to allow the interviewed
person to present their case without constantly harassing them with
interruptions just to knock them off track is nothing short of ignorant.

I wouldn’t trust Bill O’Riley to conduct a fare debate if he were in any
way in control of asking the questions. He would present everything in
a positive and accepting tone to the republicans and present everything
in a negative and argumentative tone to the democrats.

A lot of people would simply see that the questions are always nice and
uncontested when given to the republicans but always appear to be
argumentative and unresolved when presented to the democrats.

It doesn’t really matter what the details of the actual conversations
are. The over all debate would just appear that that the democrats are
confused and argumentative whilst the republicans appear to have solid
uncontested responses.

That’s how it works. It’s all smoke and mirrors in the news business.
It’s not about the actual content. It's about the illusion of whether a
person appears to know what they are talking about or not.

asked
how many dems acctually watch fox

______________

well you don't have to convince those already going to vote for you

you need to get those that are undecided or planning on voting for
someone else

does no good to preach to the chior so to speak

but it is typical plan to be non-issue related at election time
by both sides

maybe both sides should be disallowed any advertising
along as no pac ads

only a monthly debate in town hall forum

no one know what is going to be asked ahead of time

and lets see who can think on there feet for a change

but hey no one cares what i say

after all what do i know

Avoiding Fox to appease the democrats...

Or trying to use another news service with a different bias (MSN)to
strike the base of people that don't vote their way matters not.

Either way it is just politics.

Adj you have a point.

If I was the pivot in a debate I would ask some questions that they
can't answer.

You'd probally hear a lot of responses along the line of.

'Thats a matter of national security and I can't answer that'.

cause what is 'national security' to them is covering their butts.

I just dont believe the "main stream media" anymore, they have proven to
be in bed with the others like the lobbyests, drug companies, oil
companies and the war machine that put idiots like Bush and even Clinton
in office.

I think weve been sold out.

It used to be that the media was a real watch dogs and caught the
bastards, but now they are lap dogs that do what their told.

I get most of my info from

the American free Press
the Idaho Observer
RBN radio
GCN radio

there dirt poor but they have all the insiders and whistleblowers you
need to get the truth out.

Its kind of like when this government says there is a war on Terror, but
our borders are left wide open to all illegals and the police dont even
bother them.....you know that the war on terror is a joke>>>>right?

sorry I got off track, but Fox and CNN are coperate machines that push
lies....LOL and the joke is on those that watch it.

bear i cant keep agreeing with you like this, people might start
talking.

news media, the main stream, is corrupt. CNN is a leftist rag for the
airwaves, just as MSNBC is. Fox for the dems, which is why they say its
fair and balanced, left always trying to dominate, and then the right
gets its own station, and then in typical dem fashion they scream and
cry how evil the right is because they have a station of their own.

For my democrat liberal fanatical friends, whats your hang up with
equality in the US? why is it only you guys are allowed to have a voice
and everyone else has to eat your sh*t sandwhich? I dont believe your
ideology, i think your messed up from years of instant gratification,
the victim status, short sided and to be politically incorrect--- a
bunch of liars. but hey thats me and you will say im just a dumb bush
supporter.
the debates- yep, those too will be a freaking debate, neither side
gives a hoot anymore about the people, its all about what can they get
for themselves. you cant ask the hard question, and what , make them
work for the people? are you kidding, they got better things to do, like
fly around in private airliners- aint that right nancy palosi- freaky
little hypocrit- you wanna talk scarry- that b*tch scare the hell out of
me, id rather be back in Iraq facing down Al queda- oh thats right- dems
say theres no terrorist in iraq unless your talking about us....

Im pissy today- too many prentenscious post......... get over it.
