Ok, I was talking about expectations with a possible date... so... here's the question...

Is there expectations when a guy picks up the check?

Can there be no expectations on a date, besides making a new friend?

If there a date is approached as friends, should the guy still pick up the check? Or should the bill be split?

Now keep in mind, it is a DATE, but going into it with as little expectations as possible.

this is quiet confusing, is it going out with a friend or is it a date?

if it's a date the person who asked should pick up the check, if it's out with a friend then the check should be split, I think!

well it depends, the guy usually will pick up the check, and a decent guy wont expect anything for it, but if the girl is thinking she jus wants to be friends, an offer to split the check would be appropriate, but should be denied in my opinion

Whoever asks should be ready to pay, but I will always offer to pay half when out on a first date.

I know I am confusing...

Ok... this is how I put it... I am still dating but I go on date with no expections of anything... the only expectation would be to make a friend... if there is something more than friendship great, but the reasoning behind approaching it as friends, is to weed out the @sses that expect more such as sexual advances.

I would still pay, as long as it didn't make her feel obligated.

If the dinner runs you more than $50, she owes you sex. It's in the rules.
