So Israel shuts down access in and out of Gaza and lobs bombs and this is not a terrorist action??

There are children there under those falling bombs, pregnant women, old people...they cannot escape because Gaza is sealed.

This "country" was created by the allies after WWII because let's face it, they didn't want concentrated Jewish populations in either Europe or the United States. It wasn't out of goodness but prejudice and fear that Israel was created. No better authority to go to to make the creation of this so called country that was really just an effort to put the Jewish people out of sight and out of mind than going to the Bible eh?

Israel aggressively grabs land in it's expansionist zeal and violently punishes any and all who disagree.

Today, coming home I heard on the radio a citizen of Israel, I believe he was a police officer, saying of the bombing of Gaza "I hope they get wiped off the map"

When the leader of Iran said that of Israel he was condemned. Where is the condemnation of these sorts of statements to come from when they are issued by an Israeli citizen?

Until we hold Israel to the same standard as we do the rest of the world their aggressive terrorist tactics will continue.

All I posted was for people to look at the layout of the land. Gaza is higher in elevation making the rockets attacks very easy to do. I never said I agree with Israel or Palestinians, all I said was Gaza will always be stategic to Israel based on that fact.

You really need to get out more, and get an education while you're at it. Only a fool would ignore all sides of the issue. Learn your history past and current, Thomas, especially current, you are seriously lacking in it.

That would be me, I think. Thought the two links I posted are just two among many. The Christian Right isn't exactly hiding this, but since we aren't talking about it much in the news or to any degree that helps us get educated about it.

There are people on both sides of the isle that are involved in this lunacy. I never payed much attention to the Christian right because I never thought they were anything but annoying mostly. But I heard about this a few years ago and thought, damn these are so seriously unstable people.
