Please help save the Mustang Breedtears

As a little kid in school I was one of thousands that wrote letter to congress & helped get the BLM Mustang & Burro legislation passed.

My dad had horses and used to do the horse show cicuit. He had some beautiful horses........but ya know......

Everyone was fukcing everyone else's husband/wife.

Cowboys are something......indifferent

As for me, I was allowed to ride the "ole gray mare" that wasnt what she used to be.ohwell

We didn't have that problem on our show circuit, most ofthe men were gay, including my vet!

At one saddleseat barn I saw 3 men squealing & climbing the walls to get away from a harmless snake that was brought in with the hay. Of course this get the horses going & it was chaos until I got a manure fork & took the poor creature to the edge of the woods.

That's just nasty! I don't know why anyone would want to eat a horse-thats just wrong to me.

That's just societies brain washing. For some people rat meat is fine, for some dog meat is fine (did you know that you can get dog-meat stew in McDonalds in either Korea or Cambodia, can't remember which. Wonder what gets mixed into the burgers at times). You've been conditioned all your life to see some things as acceptible, but rest assured, take away that conditioning, add hunger and you'd eat anything.

 It's not brainwashing to appreciate the horse's generous and dedicated spirit towards man.
The horse has helped us build our civilization for thousands of years and deserves honor and respect for the noble creature it is...
Anyone who'd advocate eating horsemeat,(or dog meat for that matter) short of no other alternative, shows complete disrespect for two creatures that throughout history have been a loyal friend to humans.

horse meat is considered a delicacy thoroughout Asia.

When horses are bought by the meat producers they are butchered and shipped to Asia. Seldom do they actually go to the dog food companies anymore

there are meat producers at most auctions bidding on the cheapest horses.

The feds had to make it illegal for them to buy the wild mustangs because many of them were going to meat packers

laugh The horse's generous and dedicated spirit towards man? You mean it's spirit after man trapped it, broke it and then re-trained it right? What, do you think horses just walked up to man and said "hey, enslave us, make us do your bidding"? Same with the dog, they were "domesticated" at one point. See if the woman whose baby was taken by a dingo thinks that dogs are loyal to humans ("A cry in the dark" was the movie they made about it if I remember correctly!) See if the kids who've had their faces ripped off by pitbulls think the same way about dogs that you do!

You see, dogs and horses, just like humans are kind of brainwashed. Take away the "structure" for any species and they revert to a feral state pretty quickly.

Rocky Mountain Saddle Horses do not all have a nice disposition. I am sure that generally they are okay, but I have a horse boarding facility and one of our boarders has one. Temper, temper, temper. However, any breed of horse can be a good horse. Check on the disposition in their pedigree. Also treat them like a horse, please. Treating one all of the time and letting one walk all over you is a good way to create a monster. Have respect for each other. Horses are not just pets. Be careful.

That's disgusting and revolting and if you think you're smart, REALITY CHECK ! You're only a smart azz...

Chances are if YOU are eating a hot dog or a taco then YOU are eating far worse than you imagine! I think horses are lovely, majestic animals, the same way that people think that lambs are cute and adorable....and we all know what happens to them, right? Like a little baby chicken looks and sounds so sweet, remember them the next time you're polishing off some chicken wings or eating hen embryos. How about a little veal?

I'm sure they'd probably LOVE a pitbull sandwich, god knows it's probably mixed in with certain "mystery meats" already!

Reality check for you yourself, you think I'm just a smart azz but really, truthfully and honestly, nothing I've said here is really just being a smart azz. Now, go on back to loving your horses and calm down

And remember, if the economy really goes down the toilet, and you and your family are broke and starving, you can always serve up "Black Beauty", I'm sure she'll keep your bellies full for a while laugh You could even go into business with this guy:
