If a guy offers to pay you shouldn't feel like a bum. And if you really don't feel comfortable with him paying for something you should just express that to him. Most guys expect to pick up the tab for most dates. But I wouldn't mind a shugga momma to cover the bill once in a while.

one thing i dont dig is taking me to dinner and using a buy one get one free coupon... especially not on a first date... my ex did that then when ever he paid we always had to go somewhere that he had a coupon for... once in a while was ok but cheap sob!!! when i took him out i never did that to him.... OMG thats crazy |

seeing how I had not been on a date in oh say 11+ yrs I really screwed up this summer. I just assumed that we were going dutch cause of the way it was set up, and I bought a bottle of wine. He would NOT let me pay for it and the poor guy only made $10 an hour. So I really felt like a bum. Anyways from now on I will be more careful...  I will buy you a bottle anytime!!!

But I wouldn't mind a shugga momma to cover the bill once in a while. dating horror story!!! guy takes me out... we go for sunday brunch to Rock Bottom which is a freakin great brewery. he seems nice.. i like him so far... then we sit and the server hands us the menu... outta nowhere... "Yeaaahh..." like all lundberg style "We're goin dutch" he says...  I stare at him. the server stares at him the booth across th way stares at him. he smiles at me. I order a salad and an iced tea which i practically inhale, pay for and got the hell outta there.  hands down embarassing. and he wondered for like 2 months straight why i didn't want ot see him again. i dont mind dutch.. but a lil warning would have been nice  |
