Bitter is the New Black. It's an autobiography of a woman who had all the good things in life and got laid off and things spiraled out of control. It's rather comical. I bought it to read on the plane - I really need to finish it!!

I wouldn't recommend reading it unless you're completely up to date with the rest of the series, though.

the gunslinger series..pretty cool read but ya..you cant jump into the middle
