Someone who is involved in multiple relationships with women, (usually without their knowledge or express consent) and who lies about it when asked. Maybe he presents himself as monogamous when he is not or gives false hope that he can be honest and forthright about his feelings. It is someone who may have one or more real life and/or cyber and/or phone relationships going on. Affairs. Usually sexual in nature, although they don't have to be. This type gets off on the pursuit and romance rituals; as well as the taboo nature of keeping the secrets; maybe even the thrill and drama of getting caught. I guess this is what you'd call "a dog".

Apparently alot of women here have a very different concept of what a womanizer is... I am a womanizer. I value and apprecieate women more than they value and apprecieate themselves. Don't hand me that weak assed...He only wants to get laid thing.... 100% of the time...women are the first ones to request sex from my experience. I am quite happy to womanize....I see them for the beauty that they fail to see in themselves..(Ain't my fault that they can't see the forest for the trees) I love to make them laugh, to make them feel happy and contented, to make them feel apprecieated for nothing more than being a wonderful soul....it is hardly my fault when they want sex in return for my honest attentions.

A womanizer is a man who is seeking validation that he is loved over and over because he has a deep seated insecurity and anger towards women and himself. He is usually a child of one or both parents that ababndoned him and or each other. They frequently are very charming and acomplished liars because their whole life has been lying. They avoid true intimacy and usually are only good at short term persuasion which makes them sucessful in business but incapable of anything but the appearance of committment. If you attempt to leave them they will apoligize and be effusive in romantic gestures even while maintaining extra curricular activities elsewhere. Sometimes the sexual conquest behavior will spill over to anyone who expresses interest. They are often not really that good at sex and often just barely do the deed once they make the woman want to. They will tell you how much they love women but they actually don't. And can be very scarcastic and snide about it. It is not unusual for expensive cars, drugs, and or alcohol to be habits.
