When someone who drove you up a wall and was way off they're rocker.. And, just irritated the hell out of you in general.. Is it ok to want to laugh at they're failures? Part of me chuckles everytime I see what that person has "where they are from" because she shows up in the people I might be interested in...

I can see laughing at the person in general. But being happy for their failures. it's is just not very classy

And what would really make YOU happy is to let them go, not worry about their success or failure, but go on living for you and what you want out of life....their life is what they make of it and be satisfied in knowing it is not your problem

Bah! I say chuckle, and you are right. We are who we are, why try to be someone else just to please others? Being yourself is the only way to be happy. I chuckle at people who said I would never do anything with my life when I was young, as they are still in the same situation and I'm moving on up in the world. Hell, if I see em, I'll chuckle in their face. Possibly even point and laugh. Besides, its not really laughing "at" them, its simply laughing that you overcame what they assumed you would be and ended up being nothing themselves, you chuckle because it makes you happy. Anyways, live life or die. I choose life.

Like above, it would really depend on how bad I hate them, even though love is the key to happiness and you should always forgive people, its just not in the human nature to do so. If that person were a rapist, would you laugh at them? I would, loudly.. and not to myself either.

I try not to do anyone dirt but when you see someone who kicks sand in everyone's eye's over and over I think it is natural to feel a little relief when they get some of it back.

I am a big believer in what goes around comes around. Bad Karma everybody gets.

But good Karma is a little harder. To me it doesn't mean that being a good person that everything will be hearts and flowers but it does seem like that what you need to get through will come along. Which brings me back to seeing that there is justice in the world and while it doesn't always happen on que when someone hurts you it does seem to happen eventually.
