Forbes seems to be more than willing to help mega churches become mega businesses. Here comes world domination by corporate Christianity. The link will blow your mind..

http://www.forbes.com/2003/09/17/cz_lk_0917megachurch.html

The link here shows you the kind of advancement the mega churches have made and how People like Joel Osteen Creflo Dollar Pastor Chuck Smith Bishop T.D. Jakes Edwin Young Bob Russell Dr. Tommy J. Barnett Bill Hybels Pastor Bob Coy
Dr. Rick Warren, show each other and millions how to get rich off Christianity, or should we say worshipers of Christianity.

Sure makes you wonder ... but then maybe not, anyone that noticed how easy it was to get people to believe what you want them to believe, knows first hand just how lucrative Christianity can be.

Of course it's about spreading the word around the world. Isn't it?

Isn't this what the man named Jesus wanted? funny I don't remember that about his story, do you? Did he want Christian capitalism?

Want to be a minister? Rich Warren will let you use his vast collection of cookie cutter sermons to get you started. Of course I don't know what the kick back is for him....

At the end of the link above it states:
...................
No doubt, churches have learned some valuable lessons from corporations. Now maybe they can teach businesses a thing or two. Companies would certainly appreciate having the armies of non paid, loyal volunteers. "The business world would love to have that kind of fellowship," says Vaughn.
....................

One has to wonder, after Christians have infiltrated all of human society and own everything in site, just how Christian capitalism will work, once we are all indoctrinated and handing over our money and valuables. Some Christians say they hate the Catholic church because they are all about money... now that's interesting, do they not know what their own church is into with TV and Advertising and the like, because the mega churches are quickly catching up.

I am Orthodox Catholic, and at one time in history they made similar statements about the jews pre-world war two... In the world today there are only 900 million Christians in the world compared to 6.5 billion people on this earth. Sixty percent of Orthodox Catholics live in abject poverty in third world countries. I doubt we pose a financial concern to non-christians. If you are concerned about who controls the wealth of this world recognize that the world bank itself controls and influences the economies of every nation on this earth. To select a particular religous belief or faith and implicate them when their influence is next to nill is absurd and is religous racism. The Corporations and Banks that control the economies around the world are far and seperate from any particular religous belief. Their God is simply Money. Their whole intent is its continued acquisition. While if we just distributed just the interest of what resides in these banks, No man, woman, or child would go to bed hungry tonight. As of date, 20% of chinese industrial factories have collasped and failed in the present worlds supposed economic crisis. 1 point 2 million people are suffering starvation in Zimbabwe. five to ten thousand people die of hunger in the streets of Calcutta India per day. Twenty thousand die in the sudan and ethiopia per day. Who is there facing impossible challenges in the hope to feed the hungry. We are. What are you doing to improve the human condition for your fellow neighbor?

I was baptized a catholic myself, but that didn't wash away the function of my brain. It is interesting just how massive this organization has become and how they have influenced many in our government and how entangled they have become in the lives of people that are not believers.

This topic was not about who ultimately controls the money, it was about the staggering amount of money that is made by mega churches and the influence corporations have with them and visa versa.

I am very concerned that the Christian faith has become more about business than about anything else. We can already see how corporations haven't always had our best interests at heart, and I have to wonder as the Christians become more influential as they are here in the states, just how power will change them for the worse.

I don't know that your numbers are correct but I am not here to argue about the number of Christians over the world in this thread.

I selected Christianity because it is the largest influence at least here and it's the only belief system I have enough knowledge of to speak on. I know nothing about Islam for instance, but this thread was not about their corporate influences.

Again, This topic was not about the world bank but I have articles book marked about that too, something I was not aware of as I was not aware of this topic...

Your are absolutely correct in your speaking boo2u. The Christian Church has become and is becoming Super Mega Power Houses. The Greedy Church is now entangling itself in all areas of business to gain a profit in the name of jesus. It is now Hoodwinking the blind believers to purchase programs that they create that supposedly would move God to increase their finances and bring them prosperity. What a joke. People are falling for these lies. Tithing into this corrupt system. The church is Babylon. Wicked and Corrupt.
