Do you think that taking a break in a relationship will more likely strengthen it or end it?

That would be the end of it for me, in a relationship you are supposed to work through the tough times. Today things seem differentlaugh ohwell

whomever ,asked first to take a break, is probably seeing someone else or have someone in line! JMOflowerforyou

would you ever get back with someone after taking a break to figure things out (ex. how you really felt about them, the possibility of a future together etc.)?

End it.. =/

End. There's no such thing as "taking a break". If someone feels like they need to get away, then the relationship isn't working. (well barring any other kind of extenuating circumstances)

I don't see how it could strengthen it. I can understand people wanting to be apart for a few days just to be alone with their thoughts but to out right say you are taking a break from your relationship is asking for trouble.

What will taking a break mean? Can you see others? Can you sleep with others? Can you join a dating site and chat with others? Are you suppose to call each other now and then? Does the break have an official end time? So on and so on.

If people need a break then they should call it what it is, a break up. You are breaking up and now both are free to do as they please. If they miss each other and get back together at least they won't need to worry about one of them having broken some "break" rules.

You'll know soon I suspect. If you lost the man due to the break it was probably for the best. I know that's not what you want to hear though.
Relationships begin and end and sometimes the same relationship begins and ends many times but there are no commercials.

Taking a break in a relationship will give her enough time to find someone else.

Im not sure ive lost him, but im not sure it would ever be the same as it used to be either. I think we have/had a lot of things in common and shared a lot of the same life goals and such, but im no sure hes "the one".
