I know many soldiers over there, here (been there) and returning. Most
are not in favor of this war and do not like their commander in Chief.
They do what they are told, or go AWOL. The AWOL soldiers has risen to
more than half of what it was last year already and the year before. And
this is still in the new year.

I know soldiers that as soon as their time is up, they will not re
inlist. Soley because of THIS war.

I have family members and friends with young people that wanted to join
some form of the armed forces. But, their families are doing their best
to talk them out of it, til this war comes to some conclusion.

The morals of these soldiers is at an all time low.
There are soldiers that just like war at any cost, period.

These soldiers that we speak of cannot speak out against their duties,
until they are no longer active in their prospective forces. Meanwhile;
there are many coming out and talking against this war.

PS I do believe that this President lied and is a scoundrel and a cheat.
He is hard headed and ignorant.

soldiers take an oath to the constitution and the people of the US...
and Pres...if the Pres goes nutz..ala Hitler..and begins to give orders
in violation of the constitution then the commanders in field must say
no...
this is the trap that german officers fell into in WW2.."we were only
following orders"...If Bush orders nukes on Iran we will see...people
seem to think that the label "terrorism" somehow makes this all
different..
it doesnt..there are checks and balances and a system of authority that
is defined with the constitution..if we dont follow our own laws we
become the
terrorists..

I hear that devinci, They even train soldiers that to follow orders you
know are immoral and wrong, makes you just as guilty as the officer who
gave the order. At least when I served they did. You are trained to
follow orders but not to follow them blindly.

Isn't it curious that there is only two choices in the states.
republican, or demacrat. I think they have the same agenda anyway. the
same small circle of people on the top of them! pulling the real
strings. Who ever wins the same crap happens just like it was supposed
to! The middle class pays for everything and is too busy working to pay
attention to the big picture! There is no way in the world that this is
not the case. In a few years it will be common knowledge that the world
was put to sleep, but for a few free thinking people like Alex Jones and
David Icke. The internet {911 scholars for truth} it will be known in
time that this world we all live in today is being manipulated by small
group of powerfull and fearless people. That don't even care about the
cost of millions of lives! For their goals of which we have no clue?
Like the new denver airport {look it up} {creepy} new world order. I
have only been looking in this direction for a few months and I just
find it hard to believe that we are not just sheep. mad huh noway

"political Parties"

Four parties that aren't just local fringe parties. We have democrats
and republicans. Then we have the "Green" party- which isn't too bad as
far as groups go. Plus the American Socialist Part- which makes the term
"raving liberal" look polite.

Beyond that, there are at least a dozen micro-parties that don't really
count. Having have like 30 or 40 members each and being limited to a
single state.

In this morning's news: a petition for the impeachment of V.P. Cheney
will be circulated in Congress. The list of charges should come later
today.

Impeachment is a difficult legal process; it will be interesting to see
if the charges on legal issues, or will simply be a list of political
ones.

This impeachment thing is political grandstanding to me.
Won't happen, all the wasted time, press, lack of attention to the
important things this country needs. But lots of BS press attention for
the politicians.

WHAT A WASTE.

I think its a joke at this point in the game. Bush and Chaney may not
have done what some of you term even a good job, however what they did
proved you don't need congress or anyone else's permission to do what
was deemed necessary at the time it was done. I for one congratulate the
presidency for doing what had to be done. It was time to show the
liberals how to put your foot down and DO what you say Your going to DO.

To whomever it was that mentioned manipulation by a small group.

You got that sooooo right.

Many different small groups have been manipulating the media for the
last decade.

One of them is those very same scholars.

400 or so out of Millions. Would call that a small group wouln't you.

Every one has an agenda.
