My weekend wasn't that great because I am having back problems and can't do much of anything, how was yours? I'm sorry about the back, it seems to be a theme in here. I was straight out yesterday. I set up a wireless connection so that 3 of our families on fixed incomes can share an internet connection. Played 18 holes of golf. Watched the race. Then grilled steaks for my mother and 2 of her friends that lost their husbands in the last few months. Slept like a rock last night

Good morning MC, this is a 55+ community which makes me one of the youngest in here There are a lot of older people living on just Social Security and a little bit of pension. I moved out here to be closer to my mother after my brother and step father passed away 6 months apart. Mom is only 4 blocks away and it's a lot of fun being close to her again after being clear across the country for the last 30 years.

I moved out here to be closer to my mother after my brother and step father passed away 6 months apart. Mom is only 4 blocks away and it's a lot of fun being close to her again after being clear across the country for the last 30 years. Just don't age prematurely living in that 55+community. Yes, it's nice being near parents. I've always lived close to my parents. I'm 10 miles from them right now and it's the farthest I've ever lived from them, but my brother is less than 1 mile from my house. They take good care of me and I try to take good care of them.

Good morning everyone! I was so touched to receive some emails asking me where I was and if I was OK because I haven't posted for a while. First off, I was brought to tears that ANYONE noticed in the first place because I am so new to the site. My heart really was full!! Thank you so much. I just have been in a quiet mood I guess. I've read the treads just didn't have anything to offer. I hope everyone had a great weekend, my kids and grand-kids were great to me. I have to go to the dentist for some MAJOR work today, then to my Surgeon tomorrow. WOO HOO... big outings LOL I will find out when I go back to work, but my guess is probably not until after spring break. Once again, thanks friends for noticing me. You really warmed my heart!!!!
