You said, "Hes got a girlfriend that he has nothing in common with, they fight all the time, and she treats him like a jerk."

The most important part of that sentence: "Hes got a girlfriend".

Nothing else matters.

So. Because the dude has a g/f...he can't ask someone to come check him out when he plays?? Even though he KNOWS she likes his style of music??

Come on. I admit that it's pretty transparent as to what he is doing, but there is no reason for her to not go check out a friend's band.

oh by the way to add one more thing, Hes in the process of trying to get rid of her, do you mind ur own business and let the guy that makes ur heart flutter every time u see him, or step in risking a cat fight?

Let it go. If and when he breaks it off with her, then he is fair game. shades

But I would like to stress one thing you mentioned. He flirts with you each and every time he sees you. Are you sure you want to pursue and date someone that flirts with other women to the point of having them come "check out his band" because his girlfriend won't be there?

This dude ain't looking for friendship if he is revealing everything about his current relationship which includes dumping her. Let the "player" go.

Trying? Let's assume you are okay with being the other woman. Why else would you let your heart flutter over someone else's man?

She likes him. He's telling her that his gf treats him badly but still has one.

Put two and two together.

Why can't you just tell him to break it off with the girlfriend and then you'll consider going to see him?

You can let him know that you don't want to do anything to interfere with what's going on with the two of them, and you'd feel better knowing he was single before you got in the middle of things.

Like I said. It's pretty transparent.

So what?

She has to not go somewhere to hear music she likes if he's there??

She should just stay in her apartment/house???

The only harm I can see is if she decides to allow their deal to go into physical mode before he loses the girlfriend.

At 19 hun, not much is a wreck... It's about having fun.. She's going to see his band play.. I think she's heard all everyone has said about not getting involved, what's wrong with watching a band play??

Exactly. She knows ( if she has ANY sense ) what she'd be getting into. She also knows ( again, if she has any sense ) of what the limits should be.
