I've been working in the Pet Industry for half of my life, but I've honestly never run across this situation...
My female Fox Terrier comes into heat twice a year like clockwork... However, she has skipped her last heat... Is this normal? |

Nah, she's not preggers...I go to great lengths to keep her away from any male dogs...especially before, during, & after her normal heat phase...
We also have a huge male Mastiff who goes INSANE when she's in heat...& so far he hasn't lost his mind... |

charlotte says not to be concerned. it is normal. Doggie heat cycles are not the same every time they come into heat

something could have messed up her hormones, a bad scare, severe stress, or just really tired as well could bring that chemical change on.

 Cool! Thanks Willy! I've been geared up for the last month & a half...like I said, the Mastiff goes cuh-razy...& since I won't let him have HER...he thinks I'M fair game! It's only funny when it's happening to somebody else! 
Would you ask her if I can expect another six month break? |
