If he hadn't re-taken the oath we would have had to listen to years of "He's not President because he didn't take a valid oath", not unlike we have to listen to the ongoing "he's not a natural born citizen" or "he wasn't born in the U.S." etc. etc. I wonder how hard is it to frieken show the certificate and be done with the ongoing. |

I was a human moment for pete sakes, anyone could have made that mistake in the moment. Don't know why they needed a do-over except to placate the anal. The whole thing was such an ordeal it's not hard to see how someone could mess it up at the last moment. He has shown what is legally required. The supreme court said it was valid, John McCain said it was valid, and the State of Hawaii said it was valid. I think he's shown the only document that he has. |

I think he's shown the only document that he has. I accept this point of view. But then, he should be fine with the constant ongoing rumors by the people. The bureaucrats may feel satisfied, the people (not all) are not. If it was I, I'd literally get the damned paper and posted it already. Just like he handled the oath issue or non-issue. It's gone now. Easy stuff. But it helps to unite the people. |
