Go back to regular dollar coffee? Sometimes a recession is good because it makes you look at your spending habits and you actually see what is necessary and what is frivolous. We spend too much on frivolalities.

Its thursday. I'm sitting idle at the shop. My boss sent everyone home 2 days early. I'm hanging out hoping he can scrape up some local work just to make my check bigger. Its bad.

You can slam me all ya want. I count every penny. I save by common sense and budgeting. I've drank one 6 dollar cup o coffee at starf*cks in my life. I wear clothes till they are threads. I'm a cheap date.

I'm a cheap date. Im not slamming you.....Im saying as a culture. Ive had 1 starbucks coffee as well....I refuse to pay that much for a coffee. Besides I like Tim Hortons better and I can get a large for $1.70!

I often wonder what Laura Ingalls would do??? ...they were poor pioneer farmers from pepin wisconsin just 12 miles from my house. They were survivalists. They made do with what they had. Different times. I'd like to see gypsy kill a deer, gut it, and cook it. Or a coon, or fox, or turtle, or chickens, and turkeys. Or elk, or bear. Because you know what? That's what laura ingalls would do. I've been in her childhood home. Little house in the big woods. Laura was cool.
