You can be happy, and clever, and all those odd things that are you, and attract happy people.

If that works, then do it.

It's your life; you define happiness for you.

Good luck. drinker

Yes, you can find true happiness, I have, from the moment I go to bed until the moment I wake up...It is that space in the middle that presents the problem...yawn

Okay, but can happiness be found ONLINE? Been trying this online dating thing for ages. Doesn't seem to be working for me...

Probably want to focus on your strengths what makes you desireable to the widest audience. Stateing what kind of people you like. Being upbeat, friendly, smart, and inviting.

Dennis Leary once said, "Happiness comes in small doses, folks. It's a cigarette, a chocolate chip cookie, a five-second orgasm. You cum, you eat the cookie, you smoke the butt, and then you go to work... that's it, end of @#%!% list."

I just thought that was funny.

In the movie Hudson Hawk (that only I seemed to enjoy!) Darwin Mayflower said "Happiness comes from the achieving of goals."

I tend to agree with that to a greater extent.

My momma used to sing me a song when I was child, saying "Happiness is the Lord."

She's a God-fearing lady, but I've never been sure she believed it herself.

I think happiness, true happiness, requires a lot of (some would say too much) sacrifice. I think it requires that you be willing to actively craft those elements in your life that you have direct control over into exactly what you want, no compromises (which means you have to give up a lot that you want that would get in the way).

Your happiness can't depend on things outside yourself, or you'll never be happy. Because if you pursue happiness with no compromises, you're likely to end up alone.

Why do people question where they find happiness? It doesnt really matter where it is found! It can be found in the least likely of places. And to many that is the wonderful world of the internet. Different strokes for different folks. Each and everyone of us are different.

It maybe here, church, the grocery store, a bar, a park, anywhere that someone will find his/her happiness!

i'm wondering if love and happiness even exist anymore.

i'm thinking that people have grown so intolerant of everything that they've become hyper sensitive to everything.

people can't even make small talk anymore without something being misconstrued as a lewd insinuation. can't people just talk anymore? or do we have to over analyze everything and think that we have to figure out what people are trying to get at?
maybe people are just trying to make conversation.

i don't think that people want to be happy. if they were, they wouldn't have anything to ***** about.
