I love all kinds of books,I get them from goodwill/yardsales/used bookstore. Sometimes,I felt that I'm right there, walking along the beach or someone is after me. Ater I read them,I pass them on. I do collect John Sandford/Nora Roberts/Fern Michaels and Catherine Coutler. The problem that I've is finding Western Books for my aunt, she is in a wheelchair so all she does is watch tv or read.Around here, you can't find them at yardsales/flea markets, even used bookstore want high prices,I go to walmarts and bought them for her. I got pick-up Tribute-Nora R./Phantom Prey-John S. and The Adventures of Slim & Howdy-Brooks&Dunn

Hi. Have you been riding lately? Sorry to say,I'm alittle afraid of horses,I guess because they are so tall/big and I'm short.I did have my picture made with one.I think they are so beautiful. Have a ride for me.

I loved the The Sisterhood. Each book always leaves you wanting more. I hope she continues those girls are a hoot.

Popcorn the next time I ride I will think of you and maybe you can free the vibes.

Whenever I find the time to finish "The Kite Runner", I will read the 2nd and 3rd "Sisterhood" books. My son also brought those over for me to read while I'm getting better. Glad to hear they are good!

Popcorn, if you REALLY like westerns, you should contact the University of Oklahoma press. They have exclusive rights to the autobiaugraphy of "Tom Horn". The best REAL western I ever read.
Lots of factual history of the southwest.
They only print so many & you may have to send in your payment & wait for the book.

I read a lot also, like all kinds of books except sci-fi or romance novels. Recently read a book called Lottery Winner, was very good currently reading On Bear Mountain (picked it up at the Goodwill) Also read Twilight recently, not to impressed with that one.

I ran out and bought the first 2 books in the twilight series..because I saw the movie twilight and thought it was pretty good. I agree with you, the first book disappointed me greatly. The second book was better, so I will continue with the series.

I love to read, also! Over the weekend, I finished "Plain Truth" by Jodi Picoult, and started "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. One of my Xmas gifts was a book about Civil War battlefields in Virginia, and I'm reading it before bed.

Sage, my husband loves reading Clive Cussler and has a ton of his books. I'll talk with him, and get a list together of what he has, -- maybe you guys could trade books.

I enjoyed the book angels and demons.
