Just reading through all the posts and getting some good ideas about books that I think I would like to read. I am not much into romance novels and the like. I have read several of James Patterson's books and like him a lot. I like books based on true stories. I really enjoyed the autobio's I mentioned in an earlier post. Thanks to all who have shared here. Let's keep it going!

Books, will they eventually go by the wayside too!

My son introduced me to the Kindle, he got one before his last deployment.

It is an electronic pad about the size of a sheet of paper, thin as a pencil, and holds up to 1500 full text books. It is an Amazon exclusive technology, which is unbelievable. You purchase books with the touch of the screen as the unit has a self contained 3G wifi set up which no charge downloads any book in about 60 seconds. Most books are about $10.00, and will never be out of print again.

He has of course found ways to get all the classics free, (as he says "Isn't technology great".) Now I have always been one who enjoys a page turner, however like newspapers, print books may also be on the way out.

Heard of that, how small is the type, to small gets hard to read.
