I would like to what is it about us older (but better) ones and finding even a companion. It is not easy (nor am I). Hum maybe that is the problem think so?????? I met a guy on here right after I came on and he laid it on pretty thick and I just thought I would wait it out and see where it was going, as he said he wanted to meet me. That was not a problem only that he lived in Florida and I am in Iowa. Wellll his thought of meeting me was to move to Iowa and we become aquainted that why....I do not have stupid written on my forehead so that ended fairly quickly after I figured out the real reason for meeting in such a hurry.......but I think with each new experience there is a lesson, real love takes time to grow and nurture. Thanks for listening to me, I have wanted to tell this for a long time, I even left the site for awhile, but I am back now........ Welcome back. Don't feel like the lone ranger, most of us have felt like we had "stupid" written on our foreheads a time or 2.

Welcome to the 50 and over forum. I hope you stick around and let us get to know you!  LOVE is hard too come by it takes two people who will work at it Yes, it does take two to work at it. It is a give and take situation. Most want to take only and never give. At our age we are set in our ways so it just gets harder because neither wants to give. The key word is working together. Together is not seperately. Some even say they would like to work it out, but still go back to there old ways the minute the words are out of there mouth. Promises are not keep by some. I am talking from a recent experience. If you do open up you are subject to hurt but if you don't you will never have the experience. Take chances and live or sit back and let life pass you by. |
