and a nice glass of wine. Use to help me unwind from a hard day at the hospital. Now teaching school sometimes need something stronger than wine.

any out here besides me?

are we vulnerable...for men that attempt to nurture us and in the end will abuse is? take advantage of us?

is our nuturing ability our downfall??

Caretakers tend to attract those that need or want to be taken care of. They also tend to attract opportunists.

a relationship no matter what job each person has should be about comminicating each others needs and compromising on issues that concern each other

Got to love any woman who decides to be a nurse.. Yes a loving or nurturing personality is a must. But all my female friends are nurses. They keep trying to get me back in school to be a male nurse.. something about compassion they say..

I know what they go through day in and day out.. The things they get exposed to . Sometimes they are even unaware.Un till its to late. But they are there to take care of you 24/7..And I would marry a nurse in a heart beat.. make that half a heart beat. Just because I know they would understand better then most SO.. praise to all the nurses.. and thank you.flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers

ahh very sweet..
I myslef have a hard time with some of the things Ive been exposed to. It changes a persons perspective of society. I spent a year working on a tele floor in a complete ghetto hospital. of course beinga tele floor you can imagine how many drug addicts i took care of. it was a dumping grounds for whoever the docs felt need to slap some tele on them.

that being said, some of my patients, my lifelong dialysis patients I grew fond off and I enjoyed the work. that job in turn opened the door for a better job and now I spend most of my time in a university hospital that spends a lot of time and money and is well known for cancer treatments and some transplant operations.

i seriosuly love my job...BUT I can see how in the past 5 years many of my attitudes personally have changed. go figure

that being said, I cant blame my chosen profession on my seemingy ability to fall for a man that has less desirable intentions rather than just being with me and taking care of me and loving me simply because.

but i do think that the nature, the role of caretaker and wanting to help others...seeing somebody as they could be not as they are...
wanting to save someone or at least help them...this is my personal downfall.

and i might add it makes me good at my job.

The upshot is that nurses are supposed to be the most lurid, torrid, and just plain horny ladies out there. Talk about "sexual healing"! bigsmile

flowerforyou all women should be appreciatedflowerforyou

regardless of what we do...but because we are mothers/sisters/wives/daughters.

and this is best evidenced by showing compassion, warmth, tenderness, consideration,

NOT by crazy, weird, unexplainable behaviors. not by guilt or temper tantrums (ima call them angrry tantrums)

and not by walking out on someone because someone happens to have some WELL THOUGHT OUT DOUBTS
