Went camping/kayaking/geocaching this last 4 days with my 'geo-buddy'
Found 4 caches on the Henry Paul Trail. Dropped off one geocoin and found another further down the trail.

The Paul Henry - Thornapple Trail, when complete, will be a 42 mile multi-use recreation trail, from Grand Rapids to Vermontville, Michigan. The trail is being constructed on or near a former railroad corridor. Some sections of the trail are completed, some are in development and some are in the proposal or conceptual stage. The route of this trail passes through farmlands, woodlands and small towns, along and over rivers and creeks. The scenic highlight of the trail is its close proximity to the Thornapple River.

I'm tellin' ya' geocaching has turned out to be a lot of fun and a great date too. A nice walk in the woods, plenty of time to talk, see some sights, have some fun.

I released my first travel bug into the wild about a week ago. It hasn't moved from the cache where I placed it yet, but I am anxious to see where it goes. And I have 4 others to place, but I'm letting the kids figure out their 'theme' and what their goal is.

Whenver I travel or even go out of the area I almost always download a list of caches to my blackberry and try to find time to search out a few. It's good excercise, it's outdoors, and it's just plain fun.

I have three 'Geo-Coins' that deal with celestial navigation. I like them so much I'm hesitant to release them. Finding and sending a couple of them on their way is encouraging me to send them out into the world.

"Winter Wonderland", we hid it today on Valentines Day. A great day to go snowshoeing. We went geocaching on our first date.

There is actually a geocahce spot right outside the place I work.

Every once in a while we'll see someone show up at it.

Geocaching is a great date activity!

We are back at it !! we've been out geocaching the last two three wks again. My geo-buddy has a new room-mate and her boyfriend and her geocache too. So today all of us went together, it was a good time.

Now is a good time to get started, get your self a good hand held GPS and get out there!!!!!!

Downloaded some free topo maps to my GPS, wow what a difference. I had to stop and find a cache on the way home from work this am just because I could.
