Hey, MM can I join your thread and brag about the 25 found on my first day out? Can't wait for the summer...already planing out my trips. Glad to have you here. I'm thinking about heading out to Colorado late in the summer with the boys to do some hiking and see if we can't log a few caches. I enjoy searching around here, but I think it would be great fun to just plan a trail hike around collecting caches. |

Hey I just found my first one tonight in the middle of a snow storm. Anyone else here a cache hound????? WOOTWOOT found my 50th cache on Monday.!!!!!

Haven't tried it but it sounds like such fun it might be on the top of my Christmas list. Hopeing the price comes down on the gear. Only thing I wonder about is what happens when you get lost looking for something? lol

Here in the desert that isn't always a problem. Especially if you have a 4X4. Then there are a number that are just off the road. Almost close enough to be a "park and cache".

So right after the last post I went on a lunch date with a fellow Mingler. As a back up plan, I loaded a few caches in the GPS to find in case lunch was a bust.
Lunch date was great, WE went geocaching, and I have a new geo-buddy. Anyone else 'geo-dating'?????

MIDLAND - The Midland County Sheriff's Office and the Midland Bomb Squad have confiscated a suspicious item at the UTPB CEED Building in Midland County at Highway 1788 and 191. Police have determined that the item, which was inside an army surplus ammo box, was a Geo-Cash Game and was found to be safe. At around 4p.m. on Tuesday, Cleaning Crew Personnel noticed 2 men and a woman left behind what appeared to be a suspicious package. The cleaning crew personnel notified the Director of the CEED Building who then notified UTPB Police. The CEED Building was evacuated and a portion of Highway 1788 was closed as a safety precaution. The Midland Police Bomb Squad Unit later arrived and used their bomb robot to take x-rays of the package and found it to be safe. |

Every time I go out with the boys I wonder if someone might think we're suspicious and call the police on us. Maybe the police should get a geocaching.com account. |

Found my first Geo-coin today!!!!
Deaf Awareness !!!!! Started out in Hawaii and has been to the U.S. Virgin Islands too!!!!  Years ago I came close to going to school to be a American Sign Language Interpreter, and today my daughter started her first sign lang. class. |

Very cool! I have found 2 geocoins that appear to have gone missing right after I placed them back in the wild.
I also am tracking 2 travel bugs... one is a rubicks cube and one is a firetruck. I think the fire truck made it to Montana and the cube make went north then back south to Oklahoma. It's fun to track them around and see where they end up. |
