DELRAY BEACH — A woman who advertised therapeutic massages on Craigslist was arrested on Wednesday on charges of prostitution after an undercover police officer reported that she offered him a "happy ending."

Delray Beach police arrested Natasha Gurfinkiel, 40, on cocaine possession and practicing massage without a license, according to a police report.

Police began investigating Gurfinkiel earlier this month after they saw an ad on Craigslist in which she offered massages. It is unclear how police became suspicious of the ad, but when an officer made an appointment, he was told that he would "not be disappointed."

A week later, police sent an officer to the business to get a massage to ascertain any illegal activity, according to the report. After Gurfinkiel began, the officer asked if the massage "encompassed any other activity," according to the report. Gurfinkiel responded that she gives "happy endings" for a tip, police reported. She was arrested a short time later.

During the arrest, police reports indicate officers found cocaine residue and a baggie of cocaine.

Police seized a client list and appointment times, but no charges have been filed against any customers, including a man who showed up for his massage during the arrest.

Question, the wording "happy ending" is that enough to conclude the act was sexual? or is it just open to interpretation?

while I too believe a "happy ending" meant a sexual act, there is no way to prove, which is why I ask?

have also heard that if you apologize, that can be used as admission of guilt.

Doesn't the legal system usually assume the officer is telling the truth unless the officer is proven to be lying?flowerforyou I don't think cocaine being found would support that she was a law abiding citizen anywaysflowerforyou

I believe we are all innocent until proven guilty not just the officer.

While the drug residue would have been sufficient for a drug charge (I think) does that play a part in determining what a "happy ending" is?

Just curious
