The money that is gathered, so much of it goes to pay off the Central Federal Reserve bank. Why would these guys pay taxes, when they can just pull their stroke?

There may be a chance, when one high roller on capital hill starts to go down, he could roll on more. Obama needs to gather as much, undeclared as possible for when he's named. The most are holding hands in all this.

this is something I have wondered about though...when they start to take away our rights under the constitution (more than now) don't you think the people will stand up and raise their voices? i think there are enough people in America that will raise cane if they make guns illegal, the government takes more power, etc.

the politicians are elected into office by the people....and can be taken away as well...once the people get hit by something that infringes on what our fore fathers provided in the constitution. i suspect people from all sides will raise their voices as soon as they feel infringed on...just depends on what they feel is important.

I suspect if our fore fathers were here today...and they look back...they would either feel sad, anger or say "we tried....it's on them now"

I don't think Bush wasn't at fault for things. but i DO know that congress has their hands in all of it even before Bush and will even after Obama. But I see people blaming this person or that instead of dealing with what is on our plate NOW and working on it. I have noticed that during Bush...people (like me) said congress had their hand in it as well. they are al at fault. But YET people blame it all on one person....until it comes to Obama. the president doesn't have absolute power (which I have been saying for a long time now) but isn't guilt free either. congress has their own job description and they are equally at fault
