War is every mothers trepidation.
The sleepless nights of her childs participation. Going from ecstacy from a letter that found home, to her nervous heart pounding as she reflects alone. A nervous reflection of what could be, a flag draped coffin, and a letter from the presidency. Don't add to her anguish from what is perceived to be a lie shes got enough on her plate as she lies awake and cries Not a complaint just a heart felt thought

She sends him some cookies like he always loved, Believing he's safe knowing it's not enough. Once in awhile, when no one knows, she allows some tears as his letters flow. Her plate is always and never as before, She'd welcome the moment he walks through her door. Raine Les 4/16/2009 |

My nephew just completed his tours and luckily he made it home unscathed Watching my sister go through what she did inspired this piece. I can't understand how people can make a hypothesis at best when only the president really knows why we went into Iraq well and george bush. With Obamas background and the way he flip floped about the war it makes a person wonder what they know that they're not telling us. It can't be just oil because we put the first wells over there and we had controll of them after WWII why didn't we just keep them then. With the way our economy is set up i'm sure oil is a part of it but it's not the major reason because we can get oil from other places as well.
Thanks for reading and leaving a reply

I'm glad your worst fear never came true and bless you and your son for all the two of you have been through I wish the world wasn't in this state. it would be great if the emotions of war were gone and forgotten maybe one day
Bless all the people and their loved ones who have served and a moment of silence for those who served and didn't come back alive
