Dream In Twilight
In twilight I dream Somewhere in time Something here is missing Yet something felt not right. A tearing of my spirit So faithful in it's hold, Painfully aware, Unrelenting and so cold. Caught between the borders Confusion spilled amiss Comming round so slowly A death within a wish. Visions maybe memories Voices, twisted words Scratchy records play Memories out of verse. Shadows dancing rampant Fog begins to sway... Eerie shapes disturbing What light was here to stay. Squeezed into submission A fight is worth what's lost, To the spoils go the victor Summing up the cost. Twilight dreams of madness Caught within a hold Plaguing dreams of grandeur Painted my fool's gold.
