Two step, I know you didnt just say that....Come on man, the bus drivers
here are responsible. They know where the kid is suppossed to get off
the bus and even a note (can be forged) from the parent is not an
excuse. Kids will be Kids, But the driver of that bus is an adult.....
Come on man......

i would be mad if they let my kid off the bus they could just have
called the school and said we have a sick kid here we are going to stop
and let her go to the bathroom and well be there after can you call her
mum and let her know , that would have been the way to handle it , cause
if the kid was faking she would have said oh iam not sick anymore then
everyone would have went to school and mum could deal with it later at
home,
yes my kids cut school but...... the school called me and my son was
in trouble i have 4 kids so i know the bus driver should have handled it
difrent , you cant just drop someones kid off and leave them there
supose to keep them on the bus from point a to point b,

bad man for saying that she should focus at home first.

or am i wrong for thinking that we should teach our kids not to get off
busses and ditch school?

and not once did i say she shouldnt be doing the things she should ,, i
just got sick of seeing everyone say it was all the bus drivers fault.

as if the kid had no blame.

maybe if you read instead of looking for insults that didnt exist , we
wouldnt be wasting time on this juvinile crap.

look its not your job to say if the kid was wrong let her mum deal with
that
she just wanted to know what to do , about them droping her off like
that she was scared what if something happend to her , the part of the
blame of the child i think mum can handle that,
but shes a good mum and iam sure she handled what she had to but the
safety of the child is always first

Dude she wasnt on the bus or we wouldnt even be talking about this
****.. The bus driver is responsible. I dont care what the kid said or
did. He was the Adult and he was in charge of the most valuable resource
we have, Children, The driver has no excuse, None.....

Bowers did not come in here and start any kind of argument. What is with
you some of you that you think people don't have a right to voice their
opinion here, unless it coincides with your own?

Grow up, people. This ain't high school. We're all adults here and have
different perspectives on various issues.

My take on it?

The bus driver/monitor should have never let the kid off the bus in the
first place. Or if she did have to throw up, then let her off, and then
make sure she gets back on again. Or...call her mom to come get her.

The kid? She's not a preschooler who just happened to "wander off" at
the wrong stop. She knows full well what she did was wrong, and she's
responsible for it. If she was sick and the bus left her there, then she
should have called her mother right away.

She is not without blame for this incident; in fact, she is MOSTLY to
blame for it. GEHC says she realizes this and she says she took
appropriate measures to deal with it.

On the flip side, the bus driver/monitor are totally negligent in that
they didn't make sure the kid(s) were back on the bus when they were
supposed to be.

I don't blame GEHC one bit for being upset about that. But I (and I'm
speaking strictly about me and no one else) would have given my daughter
total HELL for misbehaving.

how many times do i have to say this,,,

yes the bus driver is at fault, as well as the school.

so you can all stop repeating what we already know about them being in
the wrong.

what do you think i am siding with the bus driver or something?
