Yeah, unless the teeny-boppers beat him out with the votes for Chris, Adam has this wrapped up and deservedly so. That's been apparent for a while now. His singing ability is so far beyond anyone on the show this season and there has been some real talent this time. I'd be really surprised if he doesn't get it. DITTO! |

i have been a fan of both adam and chris, but i gotta say that adam COULD sing the phone book and it would sound amazing, and i think he's the next american idol. congrats to both for making it to the finals!

I think it was all set up.... I mean look at the final song - They even said it had HigH notes in it. Who sings high pitched songs and who sings r&b and soul type songs?! COME ON! This is stupid. But get this.... Tell ya why it is set up...They want Adam to win for a couple reasons but because ADAM IS BETTER.......not one of them.. Reason one. For ratings...for NEXT YEAR! It will be the best show and season and bring in so many more viewers next year. Second reason. Because Kris is BETTER and would do better on his own. He would do better away from the American Idol drama - press and attention. He will gain more record sales and be able to do the shows and records he wants - not what the top 40 audience wants if he loses. Third reason. If Adam wins...they milk him until he is dry just like Clay Aiken and etc....money money money. Fourth reason....because I said so.

and i agree on the final song, it was written for adam, poor chris just looked like he was struggling with it. but, you're right, winning american idol can be a curse, it's more suitable to adam than chris cuz adam can be a little puppet and play whatever role they hand out. chris stays true to himself. oh well, just 12 hours to finding out, actually 13 hours and 55 minutes cuz the shows 2 hours long and they will draaaaaaaaaaaggggggg it out.

That song SUCKED. I didn't think it suited either of them. That was the worst of all the finale songs, IMO.

i'm on cloud nine. i adore kris, and i'm super psyched for him and his family. i'm only worried that we here in conway will lose him...as i'm sure he'll have bigger and better things to do now that he's won. and adam? he's also amazing and will have a long and fulfilling career ahead of him. |

I was glad to see Adam lose, only because he won't be under contract with American Idol. He can now do his own thing. I can't wait to buy his cd. I think he has way more talent than Kris. Ane what does his sexual choice have to do with his talent? Who cares really? I just love to hear him singe.

This is why I don't watch this show. It has nothing to do with talent, but it has everything to do with a popularity contest. The ONLY reason I paid even the REMOTEST amount of attention to the show this year is because of my shirt-tail relation being in it (Danny).
