because of the simple fact that these threads are intended to express
different opinions with regard religious and faith issues.
In that way we can enrich our knowledge of the world and its people.
We can contribute with our points of view and knowledge.
Nevertheless, we can't impose them to others or be derogatory with what
other people think.
Lately this section of JSH has become a battlefield in which nobody
shares his/her knowledge. People are just staying in their position,
being prejudgmental, and being aggresive.
Therefore, I quit. I better stay in the vanalities of the general
discussion threads or the sex threads. Those hurt less.

Your posts are some of my favorites. I seriously believe there are a
lot of people who check out these threads, but don't participate. Some
people can't express themselves as well as y'all can, so they don't.
But it doesn't mean they don't agree with you or have the same thought.
I've sat there a lot, yell'in Y-E-S!!, but I didn't think it appropriate
to slap it in the forum.

I tend to agree. I have decided to do my best to keep my opinions to
myself. I will continue to read some of the threads in here, but I doubt
I post much from now on. I find too many people are beyond judgemental &
feel that if others don't see things their way, those people are wrong,
not seeing the "truth", need "salvation" or whatever that moment calls
for. It seems as if each time I post my opinion about a topic, too much
is read into it. It is just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. I
have a right to that. I also have been recieving some horrible emails.
Those users have been blocked. My philosophy is mine. I do not care who
agrees or disagrees with it & I am not here to explain or defend it. I
place very little importance in emails that are hate-filled,
judgemental, condescending & just plain ignorant. Ignorance not to be
confused with stupidity. I would never even consider emailing someone &
telling them some of the things that have been said to me. It is a shame
that people cannot accept others for what they are. But to go out of
your way to be rude, hateful & much more is unacceptable. I will not
tolerate it from anyone. Especially someone who can only type in caps,
cannot spell & has the nerve to refer to me as "stupid". Some adults
need to grow up & realize that all of us do not have to be just like
them. We all have our own path to walk. I prefer to walk mine in peace &
understanding.

TLW....that is just what a fanatic against God and everything
christianity means wants you do to. In life there are those that do not
believe in the Bible or God because the faith does not conform to their
life, lifestyle or life choices and they are intent on spending their
entire life speaking against God and those that have faith. There will
always be people who do not agree or have the same beliefs but it is how
we treat eachother and respect each's beliefs, respect the path that
each takes on their personal journey. We each have the ability for
acceptance and tolerance but do not extend it to our neighbor often
enough. I'm glad you have not left and enjoy reading what you have to
say

Thanks for asking. It's been interesting to say the least. Through all
of it though, I'm learning a lot. A lot about myself, and many other
things. I don't bring it up here, because it's a little too open, but
lets just say I feel the love, and am ready for it either way. (if you
know what I mean).

I see it as everyones opinion makes this world interesting. You can
investigate and find out for your own, put in your two cents or hang
back and laugh at it all. It's everyones choice.
God made us all like crayons in a box. We are all different colors for a
reason. How boring would a box of all red crayons be...?
Afterall it takes all colors to make a beautiful picture and we all
contribute to that beauty in our own ways.

As Nicolas cage said in city of angels...
"Some things are ture whether you believe them or not"
a very wise statement in my opinion.
