Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach
with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each
scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to
Him and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, He looked back at
the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of
His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it
happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.

This really bothered Him and He questioned the LORD about it. LORD you
said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I
needed you most you would leave me.

The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would
never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see
only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

Twila Paris, Is a client of mine.

Her music shines. I haven't been in touch with her in such a long time.
I hope she is well.

Butt Prints in the Sand

One night I had a wondrous dream,
One set of footprints there was seen,
The footprints of my precious Lord,
But mine were not along the shore.
But then some stranger prints appeared,
And I asked the Lord, "What have we here?"
Those prints are large and round and neat,
"but Lord, they are too big for feet!"
"My child," He said in somber tones,
"For miles I carried you along.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait.
You disobeyed, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know,
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you on your butt.
"Because in life, there comes a time,
When one must fight, and one must climb,
When one must rise and take a stand,
...or leave their butt prints in the sand".

Lonely Walker i think the only reason i exist is due to the existance of
an ineffable higher power you cant explain .that power dosent just pop
in and out its always there goin full pelt trying to maintain a balance
that we humans seem hell bent on stuffing up. we can keep it or fuk it
our choice .

I have to agree with Red, there's a fundamental lesson lurking in the
buttprints poem.

I have to agree about the buttprints.
God gives us the strenght to live, but He is not going to live for us.
