"I'm sad today" I complained to him
A smile spread through his words "I'm sorry, you need hot chocolate and spongebob" Confusion colored the next faltered response "Huh?...what good is that" There came that laugh I love so much "just trust me it works" "i'm out of hot chocolate I informed him" our conversation difted on guess the hot chocolate and spongebob idea has dropped days later there was an ugly brown box waiting at the post office "hmm" I muttered to myself After twenty minutes of peeling tape off the flaps the dark four-sided cubby revealed its contents ...A box of swiss miss hot chocolate, the little marshmellow kind A smile claimed my features laughter couldn't be stopped "Adam you're such a dork I love you" I told him later Now that he's away and tears like to invade I keep a box on hand And okay I confess sometimes I watch spongebob It brings out the poet in me "You inspire me to smile through the hard times" I stuffed in a P.S at the end of our last letter "I love you" was his response | |

It's the simple stuff we forget in life. I like the picture you painted.
