A single tear in the corner of her eye that never falls
A single tear in her eye that watch him kiss her and hold her tide.. That never falls...... A single tear as she watch true loving walking down the street holding hands That never falls..... A single tear as she watchs the couple a few tables away so very much in love and happy That never falls...... A single tear as she drives home..knowing no one is waiting there for her..... That never falls..... A single tear as she curls up to read that romantic noval...wishing the story was her happy ending. That never falls..... But.... When the light go off..... As she lays there alone..... A single tear rolls down her check and fall on her pillow and it not alone....... |

Reaction poem to "A single tear"
-A spirit of hope- A few blue moons since A few rainy days back In this pained heart Where shadows of people traced the snow Where uncanny love left a trail Of unrelenting storms Hand in hand as they strolled As end destined to become the past Several sunny days thereafter When the doused soul wavered It seized to mourn; nor indulge in laughter, For telling time had lost its flavor Time told no less than one could bear of unrequited love in a mirage down yonder this blind soul, that deaf heart this dam*ed spirit, that sold itself the heart saw, the soul heard the mind do thy bidding Whilst I sit here and ponder, if thee restless heart can last much longer... |

A life divided is wax patiently waiting on hot coals for its own demise hoping to become the treasured piece of art that some are so capable of finding in the ashes of past ruins conditioned solely in order to keep their memory--a blind thing that gives us a reason to step out of the flames.
