If you were to place your best qualities in a credit column, and your
'faults' in a debit column, are you in the red?

And be honest...because you are only fooling yourself.

If you are honest and in the 'red'...what can you do to improve you?

To really be a valuable asset?

I don't know really

It is really hard for me to judge that for myself.

Because you see, lately I found out that others see me

totally different than I do see myself.

But then, from where I'm looking, I'm lacking so much

I don't know where to start with my improvement.

First of all maybe, trying to show greater patience for others.

And I have lived beyond my means emotionally..almost to the point of
bankrupt..

I guess it is being accountable..really having an honest look at
oneself..

balancing the chequebook so to speak..

With coffee comes equilibirum

Also, is only those who never take a peek at the credits and debits who
get their accounts drained without realising why

I'm in the pink now, was in the red for a long time, though.
Self-actualization is an everyday effort, but I do find that I like
myself more year by year. Nice when you find the bright sides of
growing up.

Ah...Jess, your questions are of self-examination...

I like your thought process here...no surprise...

For me, and mw own definitions of good and bad character...

I would venture to say that I am in the black...

However, I still have the determination and integrity to work on
improvements where needed...especially when repeated patterns of
behaviours persist...Ahhh, so human I am

To be a valuable asset to whom?

I believe that I could be an extremely valuable asset to the right
partner. I just don’t know how to go about finding her.

I’ve already been a valuable asset to society. I worked double-shifts
and overtime, and I was a dedicated company man most of my life. I was
also a college instructor for the last decade. I would still be
teaching today if I could. Unfortunately that option is no longer
available to me.

About all I have left to offer is companionship. But I need to find a
companion before I can be one.

I just don’t know how to go about finding her.

And so time flows down the proverbial drain and my soul is going to
waste.

The older I get the more I realize there's only one person I need to be
a 'valuable asset' for, and that's myself. Of course, there's always
room for improvement. I'm only human. But by and large, these days, I'm
pretty much in the green, I would think.
