We all at times, seen things happening in our life.
that we can not explained, but some explained it s chance.
others seen the truth, that it was Jesus showing himself.
I, for my faith may not be respected by everyone in thi room.
But the lord, shines upon me even on my darkest day.
the storms that I struggle through may not leave me.
But the Lord Jesus comes everyday, strenghtening me.
So how can I not praise his gloriouss name in here.
Been through so much in my life, but still I am alive.
So through this rain, I will still try to show others.
How you will rescue them too, if their hearts are open too,
I love you so very much, Jesus my wonderful Lord and King

Wonderman, I think you have got something very wrong.
Everybody respects the beliefs of the others. hat we don't like are
people that try to force feed us with their beliefs.
Yours is right for you and mine is right for me.
If you respect that and don't try to cram your beliefs down my throat, I
will respect you.
It is NOT your belief that makes us feel awkward about you,
it is the way you try to force it on everybody else.

I think I understand it now...

The logic goes something like this:

Christians don't say "Your way is right too", so we are trying to force
our beliefs down other people's throats.

The non-Christians say "Everyone's way is right", so they aren't trying
to force their beliefs down other people's throats.

Am I right?

The god that I feel I know doesn’t care what you believe. All that
matters is how you act.

Therefore, from a ‘religious’ point of view, on a personal level,
there’s nothing at all wrong with Christianity. Especially if a person
is not hypocritical about it.

However, a lot of people have been known to use Christianity to push
intolerance, bigotry and hatred, including entire churches!

My bone to pick with the religion called ‘Christianity’ has much more to
do with humanitarian concerns than it does with ‘religion’. I’m
against institutionalized ‘Christianity’ because I believe that spreads
a bad attitude in general. It pits man against man, and also causes
people to worry more about saving their own individual souls than
contributing to humanity as a whole.

In fact, the whole mindset of telling people they have two choices, “You
can either follow my religion or you’ll go to hell!”, is precisely what
makes Christianity so dangerous.

Or things like, “I denounce you in the name of Jesus Christ!”. Wow!
Talk about speaking FOR God! Here’s a person who is denouncing people
in the name of what they believe to be God. From my point of view that
is religion gone awry. That’s the epitome of arrogance to believe that
a person actually speaks for God, especially with respect to denouncing
a specific other person.

As soon as a Christian starts acting like they speak for God they lose
my respect immediately. I think it’s true that we need to respect and
tolerate other people’s faiths. But when people cross the line into
claiming that they speak for God, they have gone beyond mere faith and
have entered into the realm of blasphemy.

Wonderman. I respect what you say but must ask you a question.

If you have accepted him why then does he shine down upon you and not
shine forth from you?

Has anyone ever heard the verse that begins..."Let he who is without
sin..."?

I wonder, sometimes.

up.
lLike my pastor says christianity is a growing relationship with god
yeah we are going to fall, yes we sin but we still are suppose to be
growing.

To do something in the name of Jesus, means you are doing something that
Jesus would do if he was in your place. To rebuke (chastise) someone in
the name of Jesus is appropriate if they are using scripture to teach
new age doctrine. Christians should do many things in Jesus' name,
including praying, reading scripture, teaching and spreading the Gospel.
Christians are given authority through the Holy Spirit to act in God's
stead in many things.

I never heard of this before. If true, the religion is even more
dangerous than I originally thought.

Titus 1:16.

Aye and you know him do you.

Quickly before a person can obtain his presence give the law and shut
the door.

And still will they enter as they but have to knock.

Abracadabra,

How many people did Jesus kill? How often did Jesus teach his followers
to commit violent acts? You are a closed minded hypocrite. You claim
to have a direct connection to God, but when Christians say the same
thing, you call us "dangerous". Why don't you go troll someone else,
because every word that falls from your lips is poison and I won't have
any more of it.

Christians are under grace, not law.
