I did some math. How can 666 be the number of the beast?

A score is 12.

How is this 666?

well i really have no idea about this subject but a little
information, is that they way they figure out the numbers is through
gemetria, and every little is assigned a numerical value, and 666 is
the number of the beast in the new testament but i think in the old it
is 653.. ( i think something like that) so like someone purposed that
they thought that the bible was talking about the guy Nero neron in
history because depending on what language you translate it into, you
get the correct numberical numbers
