...aka, the real reason my gf broke up with me.
You'd think after 3 months of the break up I would have known this reason by now, but she never gave me a real answer up until now. I was not dominating enough for her. She wants to be a slave to a dom guy and all that stupid stuff. I know what your going to say, "Allen its been 3 months get over it!" to which I will say "This is the first girl I actually loved. The first gf I had that lasted for 9 months and the first real break up I've had to deal with" and as we all know, first times SUCK! Then I know what your going to say "Allen, its her life, let her live it and don't judge her." Well she broke my heart, lied to me about why for so long, got mad when I would flirt with other women online and would call to tell me shes having better sex now than she did with me. I think I have every right to judge. So you want proof that nice guys finish last? Here it is. I'm not some random yahoo posting for the first time either, you people know me for the most part. I don't hide who I am online (altho in RL I'm shy) and I think most would say I'm a pretty good guy who has his moments. Yes I had to get this off my chest, its been eating at me all day. I've deleted her number from my phone, took her off my myspace friends list and have not seen her out at the animal shelter in a few days. I am trying to move on, but every step is harder than the last. |

Quit overgeneralizing it only happens to "nice guys" when it happens to everyone, that's dating. Some of us just pick up and move on quicker than others... |

You prevented yourself from getting over her by keeping remnants around (ph #, myspace) I'm not sure I even want to know about the animal shelter,,, but now that you've learned or acquired the tools, you can spare yourself the frustration, right? Guess what, it will most likely happen again. Use them wisely or others will remember this and blast you for being a whiner the next time around,,, oh yeah,,, welcome to the world |

To me it says you are on the right track. Just keep taking steps and don't stop. It also sounds like she should have been more honest about what she wanted in and out of the bedroom.
