I'm not a huge fan of Seger, but I'm not a fan at all of Metallica. Maybe if they ever get a drummer who can drum and a singer who can sing and eliminate some of the distortion I might listen to them.

IMO, Turn The Page is Seger's best song.

 I've always liked Bob Seger. His "working class" songs are far less pretentious than Springsteens. Seger also gave Glenn Frey his first break in "the biz",if that's a good thing. Metallica is totaly useless. be seeing you

Eh, I love both. Being that they are two completely different animals, it's hard to choose one over the other.

When I need a kick in the butt... I'm all about Metallica.

When I want to chill out... I'm lovin' Seger.

They are both good to me, you listen to each when in different moods but they are both enjoyable.

I never cared for much Metallica after Master of Puppets. after that they got too poppy sounding

same for Seger after Nightmoves. every song sounded the same. before Nightmoves he was a good R&B bluesy singer. after Nightmoves it was "against the wind" crap
